So this is my first blog, I'm not entirely sure what to write. I have an English degree and I am rubbish at writing sometimes, go figure. I suppose I will introduce myself.

I'm Maria. I'm twenty four years old and I am from Ipswich, Suffolk, England. I don't lead an exciting life, just a regular job in retail which gets me by.

However, I do have a passion for beauty and for books...hence the blog name and title! Can you tell I like alliteration...?! I do hope to post here when I find the inspiration, or when I buy a nice new beauty product or book that I can tell the internet about!

I'm going to end this first blog here, I think. I will hopefully post something actually worth reading very soon!
